Family Therapy
Even though home feels hard, there is still a chance for connection
What is Family Therapy?
Family Therapy is not about “fixing” or identifying the “problem person”. The space is created to help identify the “dance”- a pattern you have fallen into that leads to friction and disconnection.
Common Reasons For Family Therapy
-
Whether you are yelling or shutting down- this place makes you feel stuck. There is a way out.
-
Moving, divorce, new people to the family- adjustment periods can be uncomfortable. This is a space to process all of the changes.
-
We can’t always control what storms life gives us and many times we don’t know how to deal with the aftermath. With over a decade of working with children and families in crisis- you will be met with compassion and help with the adjustments.
-
Learning to be a family after divorce or separation can feel unfamiliar and complicated. Therapy offers a space to begin imagining your new family with connection and support.
